Open Society Institute New York this year has started the initiative “Internet publishing”. So far in cooperation of the 28 countries members of Step by Step network project has provided 12 new titles of children’s picture books that are available on web site ”Reading Corner” of International Association Step by Step. This initiative is supported with opportunity of publishing selected titles.Our future plans involve publishing practical handbooks to help parents become effective advocated for their children. We have already received approval for copyright for couple of handbooks on topic improving services for children and families. Foundation Step by Step plans to share ideas and topics with peers from neighboring countries to use these particular printed materials with aim fulfilling lacks of suitable manuals for the educational professionals.
Methodologies and handbooks designed by Children’s Resource International from Washington D.C. are used by educational –teaching teams in the kindergartens as rich resource for generating new ideas with purpose realization and implementation of high quality child-centered curriculum. We plan to publish these handbooks for sale, to meet the interest of the preschool, primary school teachers and the organizations that work with children.
